The SecureHosting Store is a hosted database driven shopping cart system, allowing you to manage a large online catalogue of items for sale.
It is available as an optional add-on to either the eCOM Basic, Standard or Premium accounts. There is an additional cost of £95 + VAT per year for SH Store.
Overview
- The store is a bolt-on to your existing web site.
- It is database driven, and is hosted on our servers.
- It uses a series of template HTML pages to control the look and feel of the store. All template pages associated with the store are hosted on our servers.
- You will need a PC running Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP to use our "StoreBuilder" product loading program .
Main features
- Database driven product catalogue with main categories and sub-categories.
- Can contain large product database with up to 2500 items.
- Supports multiple product options, eg. colour, size, style etc.
- Supports "advanced" options where chosen option alters product price.
- Product database entered offline using our unique StoreBuilder application.
- Keyword product search across categories or the whole store.
- Stipulate minimum order value.
- Mini basket summary always visible to customer.
- Create discount groups and promotion codes.
- Simple, clear navigation.
- Ability to link to individual product from external web site.
- Shipping calculation based on quantity or value, against defineable regions.
- Tax calculation based on defineable regions.
