How to link your Actinic store to SecureHosting  

You will need at least Version 5 and upwards of the Actinic software. Version 6 comes with the SecureHosting link built in, whereas Version 5 users will have to download the latest patch which can be found at this page.

STEP 1. Create an account on our system by selecting the relevant eCOM package and following the link to "Free Trial" (the account is free for 14 days)

STEP 2. Follow these instructions on how to integrate Actinic.

STEP 3. Click here to add a set of the default templates to your SecureHosting account now. The templates consist of a secure payment page, a confirmation page and an error page. They have been specifically designed for use with Actinic and contain all the correct field names etc..

STEP 4. Should you wish to modify or customise these templates, download a zip file of the default templates. Once modified, they must be uploaded to your SecureHosting account to take effect.

STEP 5. Login to your account and follow the link to pay at the reduced rate.

Some notes on the templates :-

Credit Cards Accepted
By default the payment page features Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. If you need to add or remove cards from this list, please edit the payment page template accordingly.

CV2 Number
The payment page contains a field requesting the card CV2 number. This is the 3 digit security code that features on the reverse of most credit cards. It can be used by the merchant as an additional security check. Remove this field if you do not wish to collect this information from the cardholder.

Adding additional fields
You can add additional fields to your payment page by editing the relevant template. You can call the fields anything you like, provided that they conform to normal HTML field name conventions and do not clash with other fields present within the form.

Order Reference Number
Both the Actinic and SecureHosting systems create unique order reference numbers for each transaction. Both of these are available to display within your SecureHosting confirmation emails. If you wish to display the Actinic order reference please enter the value #acreference in your email text.
